ELEVATE YOUR THINKING

“Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.” (Col. 3:2)

Whenever our minds get distracted with this world, we need to remind ourselves to elevate our thinking. Being bombarded with the news, social media, the Internet and other mass (and rapid) communication channels can easily cloud our thought process. All the more reason we must saturate our minds with God’s revealed mind: His Word. This is a daily task (cf. Acts 17:11).

God says keep thinking on those things which are above! That is what Christ did (cf. John 17) and that is what we must do also. Think on those things that are true, noble, just, pure, lovely, and of good report (Phil. 4:8) and then act (Phil. 4:9). We are what we think (cf. Prov. 23:7; Matt. 12:34-37; Luke 6:45).

Remember, good reader, elevate your thinking!
