JESUS CHRIST - OUR LEADER

One of the great truths of Christianity is that we have an able and perfect Leader, Jesus Christ. There are no flaws or defects in Him (1 Pet. 2:21-22; 1 John 3:5; 2 Cor. 5:21; Heb. 4:15). He is able to deliver us from sin (John 8:36; Rom. 3:23-25). He remains exalted by the right hand of God Almighty (Acts 5:30-31). One could not ask for nor receive a greater Leader than that!

What are our responsibilities to Him? First of all, let us listen to His voice and He will lead us in the way (John 10:27-29). Secondly, let us look up to Him and ever keep our eyes focused (Heb. 12:2). Thirdly, let us press forward toward the goal (Phil. 3:14). Fourthly, let us trust Him all the time (Psalm 62:8). Finally, let us obey Him (Heb. 5:9). Glory awaits the faithful so let us be faithful! The captain of our salvation will not fail us (Heb. 2:10, Heb. 13:5-6).
